• Regularly inspect the hoist. Have the hoist inspected and maintained by an approved company at least once a year, this will keep your hoist in top condition.
• Lubricate the load chain according to the manufacturer's recommendations;
• When repairing the hoist, use parts recommended for MDT series mechanical hoists;
• Check the brake function before every hoisting job;
• Be sure to stand firmly and maintain safety when operating the hoist;
• The load must be free to move and all obstacles removed;
• Make sure the hook runs in the same direction as indicated on the control buttons.
