What is the 35 mm ratchet strap used for?

A 35 mm strap can be used in a wide variety of situations and is mostly used for securing loads. This 35 mm ratchet strap has a tension capacity of 2000 kg and is often chosen when a load has to be secured on, for example, a trailer. In the logistics and transport sector, in addition to ratchet straps, load binders and lashing chains are regularly used. These 35 mm ratchet straps are made of 100% polyester, which makes them very light and strong and will not damage the load.

How do to use a ratchet strap 35 mm?

The two-piece 35 mm ratchet straps consist of a strap with a ratchet and pointed hooks at the ends with which the strap can be attached. The one-piece version consists of a strap with a cam buckle and without pointed hooks. When the strap is attached via the pointed hooks, and the object is securely enclosed, the strap can be tensioned via the ratchet. You do that by first unlocking the ratchet via the handle. Then you move the ratchet back and forth in the right direction so that the strap is tensioned. When the strap is properly tensioned, move the ratchet back to its closed (flat) position. If you now let go of the lever, the strap is locked and can therefore not be released. You can release this tensioning strap by pressing the release lever and moving the ratchet all the way back to its open position, i.e., to the other side of the strap. The strap can now be withdrawn from the strap slot.
