Looking for aluminum wire ferrule crimps to make a wire rope assembly? We have several varieties and sizes available from stock. wire rope crimps are easy to attach to a wire rope. We have these pressing clamps in sizes from 2 to 8 mm.
A wire rope fits twice in these aluminum talurit clamps. This makes it easy to make a loop or something similar on a wire rope. The ferrule is clamped by pressing with a pressing tong or a special pressing machine. During the pressing of the crimp, the aluminum ferrule melts around the cable as it were, and cannot be pulled loose anymore. When using a pressing tong, the pressing should be done at the front of the sleeve.
These press sleeves have a universal application. They are mainly used for finishing wire ropeswith a loop. These loops can be reinforced with aluminum thimbles. In addition, they can also be used to extend a wire rope.
Note: As soon as a wire rope is pressed, the WLL of the wire rope decreases by 20%.
Wire rope sleeves made of aluminum are manufactured according to EN 13411-3. For extra safety during manufacture and application. The wire rope ferrules have a seamless construction and are fitted to industry standards. Aluminum sleeves are smooth.
