With a green fall indicator, the fall arrest block device may be used. If the fall arrest system has been dropped the indicator is red, this means the fall arrest block device may no longer be used. How does the fall arrest system work?

In the event of a fall, the block brakes the belt. This brings the fall to a halt. It even includes a braking mechanism designed to reduce the force of a fall, further reducing the risk of injury.
