The special thing about these lifting eyes is that no tool is needed to tighten them. These lifting eyes can be easily tightened by hand. Through the two clips on the lifting eye, the bolt can be secured to the lifting eye so that the lifting eye can be rotated as a whole. The lifting eye can be tightened by moving the clips upwards. Once the clips are placed down, the lifting eye can be positioned as the lifting eye is no longer fixed to the bolt.
Different loading directions are no problem for Pewag's PLGW-SN lifting eye. The lifting eye is available with metric threads. It has a full rotation of 360 degrees, so every pull direction is taken into account.
We can supply the lifting eye in various metric threads in a wide range of safe working loads, ranging from 1 tonne to 30 tonnes. The WLL is determined by the loading direction in which the lifting eye is used, when loaded sideways it is significantly reduced. Take this into account when using the product.

Lifting eyes are components used to lift or move heavy objects with lifting equipment, such as cranes and forklifts. They are usually used to lift or attach the load to a lifting strap or chain sling.
Lifting eyes are often made of steel and are available in different sizes and weight limits to meet different lifting needs. It is important to select the right size and working load for the lifting eyes, as an incorrect size or maximum working load can lead to failure of the lifting eyes and therefore dangerous situations.
Finally, it is significant to remember that lifting eyes should be inspected and maintained regularly to ensure that they can be used safely. Lifting eyes should be inspected for any cracks, damage, or other defects before each use and should not be used if there is any doubt about safety.
