The dee shackle with a srew collar pin of the Green Pin brand is available from stock. We have various tonnages in stock, from 330 kg to 35,000 kg.
Green pin Dee shackles can be recognized by the green color of the pin and indicate the high quality of the shackle. They are commonly used in offshore applications, mining, marine, renewable energy, general industrial applications and much more.
The standard dee shackles in our range of shackles have a screw collar pin and are manufactured from high tensile strength grade 6 steel that has been quenched and tempered and are supplied with a hot dip galvanized finish.
These shackles are of exceptional quality and have an excellent safety factor of 6: 1; this means that the green pin dee shackles will only break if it is overloaded by a minimum of six times the specified shackle working load limit.
These closures can be used in a wide temperature range - from minus 40 to plus 200 degrees Celsius.
In terms of load capacity, the smallest of this series can handle up to 330 kg, while the largest has a maximum working load of 35 tons. The larger the shackle, the stronger the shackle, although size should be taken into account in case it becomes a hindrance when deployed.
