Bow shackles with screw collar pin
This is a standard green pin harp shackle with a typical screw collar pin. Ideal for temporary connection / anchoring tasks; they are quick and easy to use and although initially hand tightened, the screw collar pin must be further tightened with a wrench or other suitable tool to ensure maximum tightening. This will help prevent the pin from loosening during use, which should only happen when there is a lot of vibration or from the lifting equipment or friction directly on the screw collar pin.
As these green pin shackles are made of high tensile strength steel up to grade 6 and are quenched and tempered, they can be used in conjunction with the hot dip galvanized finish in a wide temperature range - from minus 40 degrees to plus 200 degrees Celsius.
This series of green pin shackles with a screw collar pin have a 6: 1 safety ratio where the minimum breaking load = 6 x the WLL (working load limit) and are available up to 12 tons.
