Tips & Tricks | Lifting magnets

Pros and cons of manual lifting magnets

+ Suitable for mulitple tonnages;

+ Tested per part;

+ New technology construction;

+ Models with both loose and fixed lifting eye;

+ Simple operation with lever;

- Not electric.

Mechanical lifting magnets from 100 kg till 6.000 kg

We have a customized lifting magnet for every lifting job. Are you looking for a lifting magnet for smallers workloads of 100, 300 or 600 KG or for heavier workloads of up to 6.000KG? All lifting magnets are suitable for flat and round materials. When purchasing a lifting magnet, consider the material thickness of the loads tob e lifted.

Elektric battery lifting magnets

The electric battery lifting magnets are designed for lifting and moving metal loads up to 5,000KG. With the 12-VOLT battery you have a constant power supply for eight hours at a maximum 50% load. The electric lifting magnets come standard with an inframed remote control with a range of up to 10 meters

Pros and cons of the elektric lifting magnets

+ The BMP series for lifting and moving surfaces with abnormal loads such as I and or H cranes and loads with irregular surfaces . (Ideal for round, flat and irregular);

+Model BM 5000 features two different 2500 type lifting magnets for lifting and moving large loads. (Specially designes for lifting and moving loads with flat surface up to 10,000KG / 50 mm);

+For lifting and moving from 3mm and thicker, the BM 3600 is ideal because of its versatile lifting capability, from 3mm on sheets of 2400 x 1800 mm and even 25 mm on x3 meters!!

+ If the battery supply is too low, the battery lifting magnet cannot be switched on;

+ Front and rear panels can be removed for inspection of model and battery;

+ For flat and round material.

" A choice for quality, low maintenance costs and great reliability ".

Visual check before commisioning

In case of deviations, work should be stopped.

  • WLL ( Work load limit) must be clearly visible;
  • (tilting) lifting eye visually check for wear, cracks and deformation of structure;
  • Check lever for proper function ( lever must be easy to pull);
  • Magnetic pin must function properly ;
  • Check lifting magnet for wear, cracks . deformations of construction;
  • Visual inspection of magnet surfaces ( they must be free of damage) ;
  • With the electric lifting magnets, the acoustic and visual safety signals must function properly
