Tips
- Use the flap of the hook to lock. The latch should secure slings and chains.
- Make sure the latch is closed.

- Have the hoist inspected and maintained at least once a year by an EKH company, this will keep your hoist in top condition.
- Lubricate the load chain according to the manufacturer's recommendations.
- When repairing the hoist, use the parts recommended for MDT series mechanical hoists.
- Check the brake function before starting any lifting job.
- Make sure the load is free to move and that all obstacles are removed.

On the left side the 230 volt grounded plug is plugged in and on the right side there is a screw closure on control plug to securely secure the control cord. When the chrome-plated coil spring reaches the top of the chain guard, it stops automatically due to the emergency safety device.

Inspection data lifting gear
Marking of lifting and hoisting equipment can be done with paint, plastic label or an inspection sticker in the year color according to the IMO (International Maritime Organization) color system used.
