Griplatch self-locking hook
The Mitari self-locking safety hook with eye and griplatch. The hook closes automatically once a load is applied and cannot open under load. Once the load is released, the hook opens easily with the catch on the back of the hook. The ends of these hooks feature a grip latch, which means that the latch fits into a groove on the body of the hook. This ensures a good, solid connection and helps the user identify immediately when a hook starts to deform.
