This is a standard Mitari bow shackle with a screw collar pin. Ideal for temporary connection / anchoring tasks; they are quick and easy to use and although initially hand tightened, the screw collar pin must be further tightened with a wrench or other suitable tool to ensure maximum tightening. This will help prevent the pin from loosening during use, which should only happen when there is a lot of vibration or from the lifting equipment or friction directly on the screw collar pin.

The orange pin shackle comes from our private label range and offers a cheaper alternative to the high-quality Green Pin shackle. Available with safe working loads up to 12 tons and internal bow diameters up to 83 mm.

The bow design allows these shackles to carry a load even when loaded at an angle, making them fairly versatile. You can also find dee shackles on our website that are better suited for straight loading applications.
