D shackles from high-quality brands.

Within the Liftinggear-shop range, we have various high-quality brands, including Green Pin D shackles and Mitari D shackles. Available in many shapes and sizes. The maximum workload starts at 330 kg and goes up to 35,000 kg. Options with safety bolt and screw collar pin. For environments prone to corrosion, we also offer a Stainless steel D shackle.

What is a D shackle?

The D shackle gets its name from its shape. Because the top and sides of the bow shackle are round and the bottom straight, the shackle forms a D. D-shackles are usually used for lifting, or as a static, removable connection between, for example, steel cables and/or chains.

Compared to the bow shackle, the D shackle has a more limited range of motion. This makes the shackles very suitable for attaching to one sling. The D shackle, on the other hand, is harder to bend and therefore more suitable for heavy work.

Certification

All D shackles comply with the NEN-EN13889 standard and are available with a certificate.
