Locking hook, what is it?

With a self-locking hook, safety is guaranteed during lifting work. Due to the construction of the hook, it can only be opened when it is unloaded. This decreases the risk of accidents. The load can be picked up by pushing the catch located at the rear of the hook.

Safety locking hook with eye or clevis

Within the Liftinggear shop range, you will find locking hooks with an eye or clevis attachment. A safety hook with an eye is easy to mount on various lifting equipment. With a clevis, the hook can be mounted directly on the lifting chain.

Locking hook with ball bearings

In our range of self-locking hooks, you will find hooks with and without Grip Latch. With a grip latch, the latch fits in a groove on the body of the hook. This provides a connection that allows the user to immediately identify the deformation of the hook.
